My Advertising Work on Michigan Avenue Magazine

I had an honor to photograph a local celebrity, Candace Jordan, for the CAMP Cosmetics. Because of her popularity, the new coral lipstick has its name after her "Candid Candace". This is cool because this magazine ad appears full-paged in many big magazines, such as Michigan Avenue Magazine and TCW Magazine with my name in credit both for photography and graphic execution. I spent several hours in doing touch ups and graphic works with multiple layers in photoshop to create what CAMP wanted. The lighting and sparkles effect was a bit time-consuming because I had to create "one bolt" at a time, and layered them together. But it's all worth it.

Behind the scenes of Candace Jordan's shoot for the coral lipstick "Candid Candace" by CAMP Cosmetics. The video is showcased on the "Michigan Avenue Magazine" online. Amie Hana was the photographer, and the location shoot was at her lakefront studio near Gurnee, IL.

Candace Collins Jordan began her career as a Bunny at the St. Louis Playboy Club at age 19. She transferred to Playboy’s Chicago hub where she became Playboy Bunny of the Year in 1976and a December 1979 Playmate in addition to appearing on six Playboy covers.

Candace was one of Chicago’s top models eventually signing with the prestigious Wilhelmina Agency in New York. She has modeled internationally appeared on over 20 national magazine covers had a role in the classic film “Risky Business” with Tom Cruise and a billboard in Times Square for JVC

Candace has been named as one of the “25 Best Dressed Chicagoans” by CS Magazine“Fashion Icon” by Shore Magazine“Chicago Style Setter” by TCW Magazine“Style Trend setter” by ME: In Focus Magazine“Unofficial Hostess of Chicago” by AOL’s City’s Best Chicago one of “100 Powerful Chicagoans” by Michigan Avenue Magazine one of “100 Women Making a Difference in 2011” in TCW Magazine and the “Belle of the Blog” by Chicago Magazine.

She has been married for 24 years to Chuck Jordan.
